talkSPORT Selector: The Premier League is BACK and you can win £10,000 in our new game

Take a look at next weekend’s Premier League fixture list as the 2019/20 season finally resumes. Can you select one team to win? That’s right, just one team to win their match.

Ok, then how about the fixture list for next week, could you do it again but this time, you must choose a different team? Good, that’s twice, so here’s the next seven fixtures after that. Same rules. One team to win, but not one you’ve selected already.

Welcome to talkSPORT Selector, the new, easy to play football game with a chance to win thousands of pounds.

Launching today, simply select a Premier League team to win their fixture. One team to win from any of the programme of ten Premier League games next weekend. So from Southampton’s visit to Norwich on Friday to Man City v Burnley on Monday evening.

You don’t need to find six results or four or even two. Just ONE winner. No need to predict the score, just choose a team to win.

Get it wrong and you’re eliminated from the game. Get it right and you’re through to the next round and the following week’s fixtures. You’ve also moved yourself one step closer to the cash prize.

Keep selecting one winner successfully from each round to stay alive in the game. The choice is always yours to make. But remember – you can’t pick the same team twice. Once you’ve selected a side to win, you can’t choose them again. Not in this game.

Study the schedules, injuries, form and stats if you want. Listen to friends, pundits, broadcasters and bookmakers and use your skill and knowledge to help you uncover every advantage. Plot a sequence of weekly winners through the remaining fixture lists or perhaps just take one week at a time and go by instinct or use the big favourites earlier to make good progress through the game. It’s all up to you.

As you advance, you might have to park some loyalties and preferences to make cold hard judgements in pursuit of the pot. With a minimum of £10,000 to play for, it will be a competitive field but it’s all in your own hands. Decide on your strategy and select the first team to get you through. Don’t forget, it might not go all the way to the season ending weekend but you’ll be able to follow the game and see how many players are eliminated after each round of fixtures.

Each player can enter twice so there’s a chance to try different tactics and game-plans. Will you look for favourites and mis-matches first? Or have you spotted some chances for odds-busting results? What is the effect of COVID-19? Who can’t seem to win? Maybe you can see where key players could be rested and rotated as priorities shift. Use it all to find a new winner each week and you could be claiming our first talkSPORT Selector prize pot.

To get in the game, simply register at talkSPORT.com/selector, pay a £10 entry fee and turn your thoughts to next weekend’s fixtures.

Pick a likely winner or if you prefer, an unlikely winner to get you through with your aces still in hand…
