LA Galaxy set to acquire Costa Rica international Gonzalez from Bologna - sources

A goal and an assist from Zlatan Ibrahimovic steered his LA Galaxy side to an impressive 2-0 win at Vancouver. The LA Galaxy have completed a deal with Serie A club Bologna to acquire defender Giancarlo Gonzalez, sources have told ESPN FC. The Los Angeles Times were the first to report the news on Wednesday. Gonzalez, 31, is expected to join the Galaxy on Thursday ahead of a visit from the Philadelphia Union on Saturday. The sources said that the Galaxy did a deal with Orlando and Toronto involving allocation order to complete the move. The Galaxy currently sit third in the Western Conference on 12 points....
