Dominic Solanke scored a delightfully unique goal for England U21s during the 5-1 thrashing of Denmark U21s on Tuesday night.
The Liverpool star, 21, reacted quickest when the goalkeeper spilled Phil Foden’s shot and somehow managed to chip the ball into the net with a backheel.
It was his second goal of the night and England U21s’ third, with Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin also at the double and Leicester winger Demarai Gray getting on the scoresheet.
The imperious display extends the Young Lions’ unbeaten run to 22 matches, as Solanke continued his superb form at international youth level.

The former Chelsea man scored both goals in last week’s 2-1 win in Italy, and tonight’s audacious piece of skill made it four goals in two games.
However, Solanke is yet to appear in any competition for Liverpool this season and only has one goal for the Reds since joining in May 2017.
