Gary Neville in brutal response to Harry Redknapp’s ‘do your homework’ comments following angry rant on talkSPORT

Gary Neville has hit back at Harry Redknapp in brutal fashion after the former Tottenham manager’s angry talkSPORT rant about the Manchester United legend.

Redknapp was fuming with Neville over the comments he made on this week’s Monday Night Football about Spurs, where he said their teams have been ‘pathetic and spineless’ over the last 30 years.

The former defender was actually speaking in favour of Mauricio Pochettino’s current side, saying Tottenham now have their ‘toughest, robust and most resilient’ team in decades.

But ‘Arry took exception to his verdict on previous teams, which included his classy XI which broke into the Premier League top four and got to the Champions League quarter-finals.

The experienced boss said Neville’s comments ‘were an absolute disgrace’ and said the player-turned-pundit should ‘do his homework’ before making such broad comments.

He also took aim at Neville’s stint as a manager in Spain, telling the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast: “Listen, we can all come back – when he managed Valencia they were the worst Valencia team probably not just in the last 30 years, but in their history.”

And Neville couldn’t help but reply, throwing shade on Redknapp’s recent managerial record in a brutal response on Twitter on Friday morning.

Ouch!

Is this the beginning of a war of words between the pair? Stay tuned for updates…
