Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas nets Guinness World Record for 100 Premier League assists

Cesc Fabregas isn't exactly short on silverware, but the Chelsea midfielder can now boast that he has a Guinness World Record to add to his C.V. Indeed, Fabregas is now the official holder of the record for achieving 100 assists in the Premier League in the shortest amount of time -- thus earning himself a place in the 2019 Guinness World Records (GWR) annual. Fabregas managed the feat in just 293 matches, some 74 fewer appearances than the previous record holder, Ryan Giggs (367 matches).
