Arsenal have signed a lucrative sponsorship deal with Adidas.
The German sportswear giant will replace Puma as the Premier League club’s kit suppliers from the start of next season.
The deal is understood to be worth around £300million to the north London club over the next five years.
The news has got plenty of Arsenal fans excited as Adidas previously supplied the club’s kit between 1986 and 1994 and were responsible for producing the iconic ‘bruised banana’ away strip.
Could it return in 2019?
Ian Wright certainly hopes so, sharing this image on his Instagram page in reaction to the news…
A number of supporters have also been posting their reaction on social media, with some sharing some potential designs for new Arsenal home and away kits under Adidas.
And here’s out shot at the new away kit…
